How do I Share my App?

From the app menu, select “Share My App” to invite your clients to communicate in a familiar text-like setting that makes it easy to keep all notes and comments and listings organized. When you share your app with others,  they will have access to IDX properties direct from the MLS.

When you share your app with someone via text message, they’ll receive a text message with a custom link to download the HomeSpotter the app attached to you from HomeSpotter along with a message that you can customize.

You can also invite others to the app by email and social media.

Once your client downloads the app, your note and any listings you’ve already sent them will already be in their chats.

    Hey there- You can either search for a contact by selecting the + icon, or you can type in a new number. Once you’ve typed in a new number, you don’t need to press the + to accept it, just having it typed in will automatically accept it. When you click to the box to manage what will be sent to your client, you’ll see the number will turn orange. Once it’s orange, you’ll know it’s been accepted.

      Hey Susan- you’ll want to check your device’s setting to add this. If you’re using an iPhone, you’ll want to follow these steps: Go to settings, then scroll down to HomeSpotter. You’ll want to make sure you have “Contacts” toggled to on!

    Hi Susan,

    I am an agent in Portland, OR. I am able to use the app to search but the “invite to app” line is not there below the Mortgage Calculator. We just got access to this app on September 12, 2016. Is this a feature that just isn’t online for us yet?

      Yes, that is correct. Unfortunately that feature is not available for RMLS at this time.

    Most of my clients prefer to be notified by email.

      Thanks for the feedback, Jo. Unfortunately agents and consumers will only be notified by push notification on their mobile device, and in the app.
